Landscape lighting is the finishing touch for your landscape. Our low-voltage lighting products are safe, economical, easy to install, and are professsional-grade! Low voltage lighting requires three major components:
1. TRANSFORMER- simply plug into a ground-fault protected 110V/120v outlet ; voltage is reduced to an extremely safe 12 volts. Timers and photocells are available for timer control.
2. WIRE- 12, 10, or 8 gauge multi-strand; you must estimate required wattage and voltage drop. Contact us for help with your calculations!
3. FIXTURES- pathlights, floodlights, spotlights, underwater lights, deck lights, and much more come in several styles and finishes. There are lots of options in bulb intensity and beam width. River Valley offers the latest in LED lamps to replace the typical halogen bulbs. These will last for thousands of hours and save electricity, too!
